World premiere

What do you pick up when there is no longer any support in a crisis? How do you manage not to lose the thread? The fishermen at the Greifswalder Bodden were faced with these questions in the great world economic crisis of 1929. And on top of that, the Baltic Sea was fished empty. One must: "Daun wat to daun is!" But what is to be done? Continue as before or go new ways to get something in the "leerige Maag"? District Administrator Kogge has an idea. Necessity is the mother of invention, but what does the Viennese carpet maker Rudolf Stundl have to do with it? New patterns for carpets, new patterns for life. The true story of the Freest fishing carpets is the basis for this amusing piece of local history.
