Impressionistic strong expression in color and black and white ...in large and small formats
Petra Kraft was born and raised in Wittenburg, Mecklenburg. She completed art studies in painting at the Freie Kunstschule in Cologne, gained diverse experience in various artist courses at the Ludwigforum Aachen with sculpture, etching, linocut and drawing.
Today she focuses her work as a freelance artist on painting and drawing portraits in oil, and charcoal in various techniques and was among others represented at the Lupinale 2021.
In 2020 she and her husband Reinhold opened the Atelier Kraft in Dömitz, a place for exhibitions, summer academy and other art courses, as well as small concerts.
Studio open: Spring to fall Saturday / Sunday 14 - 18 clock, and any time by appointment.
