The 2027 Stralsund Hospice Charity Run is held to raise funds for the Stralsund hospice “Gezeiten.” The charity run will take place on the festival grounds in front of the Hansa-Gymnasium Stralsund.
The 2027 Stralsund Hospice Charity Run is organized by the Stralsund University Sports Association (Hochschulsportgemeinschaft Stralsund e. V.) and many volunteers. The event aims to raise funds for the Stralsund Hospice “Gezeiten,” which is supported by the Welfare Institutions of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund, a nonprofit limited liability company.
The entry fees, donations, and proceeds from food and drinks sold during the event will be donated to the Stralsund “Gezeiten” Hospice.
The charity run will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2027, on the festival grounds in front of the Hansa-Gymnasium Stralsund. This is also the start and finish line; the running routes will then lead along the Sund Promenade to the beach and back. Participants can choose from 1 km (start at 10:00 a.m.), 4 km (2 laps, start at 10:30 a.m.), and 10 km (5 laps, start at 11:00 a.m.). The event begins at 9:00 a.m. (with registration starting at that time), and it is scheduled to end around 3:00 p.m. Advance registration is required. During the event, there will be a lively atmosphere on the Hansawiese with an entertainment program for athletes and spectators. Refreshments will be provided.
