Julio Färber (Diego Cremonesi) is in his mid-40s when Argentina’s economy crashes in 2001, prompting him to pack his bags once again to escape the crisis. He would be leaving behind a small shoe store in Buenos Aires. He sets his sights on Germany, where his mother was born. But before he can set out on his journey, a car accident brings him into contact with the taxi driver Mariela (Marina Bellati). It doesn’t take long for the two to take a liking to each other. And Julio’s band is also given a new lease on life. And so he begins to wonder whether emigrating is still such a good idea.
