Festive and meditative choral works
In the special atmosphere of Advent, festive and meditative choral works will be performed to set the mood for the coming Christmas. The program includes sacred compositions from different eras - carried by the hope and light that Advent promises. The "Junge Chor der Deutschen Oper Berlin" was founded in 2013 and offers former singers of the children's choir in particular the opportunity to continue singing in a choir at a high artistic level. The choir has already been involved in various Deutsche Oper musical theater productions and increasingly performs as a concert choir in Berlin and beyond. The artistic director is Christian Lindhorst, supported by Rosemarie Arzt and Niklas Wagner.
