JAZZERVIERT

concert

The four musicians see themselves as having regional roots in the Lake District.

Plump bass grooves, melodious guitar lines, energetic vibraphone sounds and the powerfully emotional voice of Magdalena von Rohden characterize the music of jazzerviert. In addition to jazzy sounds, the singer also lets classical colors shimmer through.

Her own compositions, such as pulso de agua, Tango am Moor, Eisbaden, Aprikose zu zweit, Ranas azules, have a strong connection to nature. The program is broadened with jazz themes from the 50s and 60s. Thelonius Monk is a focal point. It quickly becomes clear that jazz, timeless as it is, can always inspire through renewable energies.

Michael Rappold vibraphone / tamburello / gongs
