The Rostock Zoo Association provides information about nature and species conservation
The Rostock Zoo Association is dedicating a special event to this important topic on May 22, 2025 with the Species Conservation Day. Visitors can find out about various projects at different stations - about endangered animals and plants, protecting biodiversity in the Baltic Sea, helping the Amazon and much more. Using practical examples, participants will learn what our cell phones have to do with gorillas or how we can protect the rainforest right in the supermarket. Lots of useful information and tips are conveyed in a playful and interactive way and thus in a sustainable way. Admission to Species Conservation Day is free for school classes on May 22, 2025.
