Jason Ruben (17 years old) plays classical sounds, popular evergreens, oldies and modern pop/rock songs on the organ. From Bach to Taylor Swift - a different kind of organ.
Let yourself be enchanted by the music! Jason is a young, talented musician who creates real feel-good moments with his organ playing.
From Mozart to film music and oldies to current hits from rock and pop history, his repertoire is versatile. Sometimes gentle, sometimes lively and always played with heart. A colorful program for about an hour lets you experience the organ in a completely different way.
Jason from the parish of Glewitz near Grimmen started playing the piano at the age of 4 and has enjoyed playing the organ, a fascinating instrument with a huge variety of sounds, since the age of 10. He learned to play all the pieces without sheet music by ear.
Jason also enjoys playing from his repertoire at birthday parties and weddings, covering all musical genres on the grand piano, piano or keyboards.

The venue is the Protestant church in Franzburg, the impressive brick building is part of the former monastery church of the Neuenkamp Cistercian monastery. After the Reformation, the monastery was dissolved in 1535, and after several conversions and renovations, the south wing of the former transept was turned into the castle church. The original organ has not been preserved. In 2008, the organ built by Paul Rother in Hamburg around 1900, which had previously been used in the Fuhlsbüttel prison, was moved to Franzburg. It is considered a rare, almost unaltered example of late romantic North German organ building.
So come - listen - enjoy! Admission is free.
