The “Leadership School of the German Medical Profession” in Alt Rehse
The exhibition sheds light on the history of the former “Führerschule der Deutschen Ärzteschaft” in Alt Rehse.
It presents the latest research findings and examines the role of the medical profession under National Socialism and its consequences. It has been curated as a traveling exhibition and is being presented to the public for the first time in Schwerin. It is based on the future permanent exhibition that will be on display in Alt Rehse. Presenting the exhibition ahead of the state parliamentary election sends a strong message. Engaging with history remains crucial in the face of antisemitism and racism.
