The annual MÜTHER WEEK focuses on the Binz-based architect Ulrich Müther (1934–2007). A variety of events are held to honor him and his work.
He is considered THE specialist in hyper-shell structures. His spectacular buildings are architectural gems of East German Modernism. One of the best-known examples is the Müther Tower at Beach Access 6.
The special guided tour takes you on a journey to discover the shell structures in Binz, with explanations about the life and work of Ulrich Müther. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Müther Tower.
