At this concert experience above the sea, the pier becomes a stage. Where the excursion boats set sail during the day, in the evening popular musicians take to the stage for a breezy open-air concert.
Jules Atlas sets his globetrotting existence to music with lyrical finesse and reveals the search for connection and the pain of waiting for each other on his debut album "Postcards From Sophia", released in 2023. Melancholically charged immediacy à la Damien Rice meets electronic-tinged, playful heaviness in the style of Role Models. Jules Atlas plays folk in a pop guise and marries Bright Eyes with The 1975.
At the age of 18, Jules Atlas moved to the cultural metropolis of London, where he spent the following years playing his way through the bars and clubs of the scene while studying music. His songs evoke big city life, wanderlust and the challenges of being on your own; finding yourself and arriving. He shows the bittersweet balancing act of a young person in a world that seems far too big; sometimes full of confidence and devotion, sometimes with accusations of transience and existence.
After seven years in London, he has moved back to Hamburg and will follow up his debut album with new releases in 2026.
