Two musicians and the sound of an entire band. The band "Die Guten" from Rostock will turn the Barth Harbor into a stage on August 12.
Marian Hoffmann and Martin Pollok are known as Die Guten, and they certainly live up to their name. As a duo, they bring a wall of sound to the stage that you’d normally expect from a five-piece live band—all done by hand, all live, played with pinpoint precision.
Their repertoire spans from 1920 to the present: concert-style, understated, or danceable, depending on what the evening calls for. What remains is the feeling of listening to a band that knows what it’s doing—and is clearly having fun doing it. Professional, fresh, and funny.
Add to that what Barth Harbor is known for on Wednesday evenings: street food, cool cocktails, boats in the background, glistening water, and a sunset over the Bodden that makes it hard to go home early. DJ Desto takes the stage afterward until 10 p.m.
Admission is free. Guests from Zingst can take the free shuttle boat across the Barth Bodden with their FDZ guest card—or take the bus to Barth.
