14th Pinnower Ohrenschmaus, opening concert, singing and guitar. Gretel Wittenburg: soprano, Elke Jahn: guitar
The opening concert of this year's concert series is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the death of the composer Carl Maria von Weber. The musicians combine the songs of the great composer with a musical and literary homage to his life and work.
The romantic songs, sung to the guitar, transport the audience into the world of the early 19th century and bring to life the longings and feelings of Romanticism and the experience of nature in the flower garden. Embedded in this musical journey are readings about the exceptional artist, which provide interesting insights into his life, his music and his everlasting significance for music history. Elke Jahn will be playing on an original 19th century instrument.
After the concert, the Organ Promotion Association and the Pinnow parish invite you to round off the evening with wine and water and stimulating conversation. Admission is free, donations are requested.
