Former Bundesliga table tennis player Daniel Bodien, also known as Hektor Nase, is hosting an extraordinary concert evening on September 25.
Calm melodies, fast-paced rallies, and an artist with two remarkable talents: On September 25, the Ping Pong Salon at Elisabethstraße 33 will transform into an intimate concert venue. Hektor Nase will perform old and new songs with his band—and then take up a table tennis racket himself.
Behind the stage name Hektor Nase is Daniel Bodien, a former Bundesliga table tennis player and musician with a unique perspective on everyday life. Grand, rousing anthems aren’t his thing. Although his album is titled “Große Kaliber,” he prefers to tell stories about ordinary life: dry, incisive, edgy, and full of wordplay. After a long hiatus from the stage, he’s now back performing live.
After the musical set, guests are invited to challenge Hektor Nase at the table tennis table. This blurs the boundaries between stage and audience—listeners become participants, and a concert turns into a shared evening.
Admission is free. Hektor Nase and his band welcome donations; alternatively, you can select a donation ticket when registering. Guests are also welcome to bring their favorite drink.
