THE AUTHORS
SYLVIA FRANK is a successful author couple that has consisted of Sylvia Vandermeer and Frank Meierewert for thirty years. Prof. Dr. Sylvia Vandermeer was born in Zeitz in 1968, graduated from high school in Meuselwitz and studied business administration at the University of Passau. She completed her habilitation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in 2007. She has lectured internationally and now works as a freelance painter and author. Dr. Frank Meierewert was born and grew up in Brandenburg an der Havel. He studied screenwriting at the Vienna Film School and social and cultural anthropology at the University of Vienna. He has been working as a freelance author since 2016. Both live on the Island of Rügen.
