Jessy James LaFleur, Alina Stark, Jasmin Brückner and the young Lost Poetas from the Spoken Word Academy's empowerment program "Aufbruch ist weiblich" bring together poetry, message and performance and transform emotions into texts with attitude.
Each of them writes differently, sounds differently, burns differently, but together they create a show full of energy, resilience and poetic precision.
They talk about freedom, injustice, visibility, self-determination and solidarity.
Direct. Honest. Sometimes uncomfortable, but always powerful.
The Sisters of Poetry take their lyrics straight to the hearts of the audience and are not afraid to put their finger in the wound - only to poetically embrace the audience again at the end of the evening.
