Every last Sunday of the month, at the invitation of the “Spielend Zusammenkommen” initiative, singles gather for a free walk through the beautiful natural surroundings in and around Schwerin. This time, the walk will take place on the Schelfwerder Peninsula.
Singles up to age 60 from the Schwerin area are once again warmly invited to join us for the Singles Walk in October: a chance to meet new people and have interesting conversations while enjoying the fall scenery.
Have you been following the “Spielend Zusammenkommen” initiative for a while but haven’t quite been able to bring yourself to stop by yet? Now’s your chance—we’re looking forward to seeing you! Meet lots of friendly people from your area all at once—and they’re all single, too. Whether you’re a man or a woman, we guarantee you won’t stay single for long—we promise! So recharge your social battery and come on by.
This time, we’re heading to the Schwelfwerder Peninsula on the eastern outskirts of Schwerin, with views of Ziegelsee and Schweriner See.
The meeting point is a parking/pull-off area on the outskirts of Schwerin. There are also a few additional parking spots right across the street in the woods. Sturdy shoes are recommended, as the ground is muddy in places.
About the route: We’ll start the 9 km hike from the parking lot into the forest through the Ruheforst, then cross the B 104 and head toward Lake Schwerin/Marina Nord. Along the way, there are several points where you can shorten the hike.
As always: Everyone participates at their own risk and is responsible for assessing their own fitness level. Dogs that are comfortable around groups of people are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
This walk is free and requires no registration. To support the “Spielend Zusammenkommen” initiative, however, a small donation of around €1 per person toward operating costs is appreciated.
