Singing brings people together, is good for your health, and is fun! In this workshop led by artist and musician Marta Olejko from Schwerin, we’ll sing pop songs together—from Rio Reiser to “Karussell.”
There will also be time to share personal memories of the songs. In a small matinee concert on Sunday, we’ll share our joy of music together.
Lyrics and sheet music will be provided for the workshop.

Participation fee: 15 € (donations welcome)

Workshop Leader
Marta Olejko is a musician and artist. Raised on the Island of Rügen, she has now lived in Schwerin for nearly 30 years and has been working as a professional artist for just as long. After training and gaining experience in various artistic fields (music, performing arts, and visual arts), her work now focuses primarily on printmaking. She also remains active as a music educator.
The workshop is a collaborative effort with the organizations 1A Klein Plasten, Lehstener Kultur Alternative, Kulturkolchose Lehsten, and Werkhaus Waren, and is part of the “Zusammen bewegen MV” initiative. It is made possible by funding from the “Zukunftswege Ost” program.
