Five artists, five places of origin, one time together: The Mecklenburgische Künstlerhaus Schloss Plüschow presents SING, the annual exhibition of its 2025 scholarship holders. Works created during their three-month stay in rural Mecklenburg will be shown. The title is based on a shared experience: singing during Advent - a spontaneous, unifying moment in the midst of an intensive work process. It symbolizes what Schloss Plüschow stands for as a place of work: the encounter of different voices, cultures and artistic languages. The works - created in the media of painting, photography and installation - revolve around themes such as ecology, memory and the relationship between man and nature. Located far away from urban art centers, the listed castle offers a retreat that invites visitors to slow down and experiment. Special events shaped the stay: a super moon, polar lights, a clear starry sky - impressions that have flowed into the works and bear witness to the intensity of the authentic experience. SING makes the creative process itself visible - with all the searching, failure and reinvention that goes with it.
