The sing-along evening Let's sing together on our wonderful Hansawiese and make the city resound.
Fancy a musical escalation? Then join the most spontaneous singing group in town! The choir of the evening will meet in a completely unplanned way to belt out legendary hits from all decades and styles - loud, passionate and guaranteed to be catchy. No previous knowledge of singing or sheet music is necessary. The focus is on having fun with the music and a sense of community.
Two experienced people take the whole thing into their own hands: one is Felix Meusel, actor, singer and presenter at Theater Vorpommern and audience favorite, seen as Higgins in the musical "My fair Lady", among others, and the other is Andreas Dziuk, musical director of the drama department and keyboardist of the East Berlin band "Pankow". Both are permanent fixtures at the theater and veterans in dealing with the stage and the audience.
They have put together a colorful mix from a huge selection of songs, dramaturgically well thought out, but with plenty of room for spontaneous audience decisions. And it works: The audience joins in, sings along, celebrates!
"We wanted to create an evening where everyone can join in - regardless of voice or experience," says Felix. "The audience is the star, we just set the tone."
