For “Stories on Our Doorstep – 48-Hour Film Challenge!”, you’ll kick things off with a free film workshop on November 27, 2026. From November 28–30, you’ll shoot a short film—either alone or as a team—in a single take—no cuts! The premiere, featuring an audience award, will take place on December 21, 2026, at the KURZFILMTAG at MakerPort Stralsund.

"Stories on Our Doorstep – 48 Hours of Fun!" is all about creative filmmaking and collaborative storytelling. It kicks off on November 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a free introductory session at MakerPort Stralsund. Here, participants will learn the basics of storytelling, camera work, lighting, and directing.

On November 28 at 8:00 p.m., the 48-hour short film challenge begins. The countdown begins with the announcement of three pre-selected keywords: Participants have until November 30 at 8:00 p.m. to shoot a short film—either alone or as a team—lasting no more than five minutes—using just one camera, in a single take, and without any editing.

The event will conclude with a public film premiere and audience award on December 21, 2026, at MakerPort Stralsund as part of the GOLDEN SHORTS 2026 Short Film Festival.
