Jewelry - Installations - Graphics is exhibited in the Maschinenhaus at Wiligrad Castle May 9, 2026 to July 5, 2026 Vernissage: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

The exhibition brings together jewelry, installations and graphics by alumni and students of the Faculty of Design at Wismar University of Applied Sciences from the last 20 years.
The title refers to an installation created by Anne Lengnink during her studies, "Die Schimmernden Steine" (The Shimmering Stones), and uses text, video and a decorative object to tell the story of being a child and growing up, of remembering and forgetting, and of dreams, wishes and what remains of them. Big dreams accompany studies and have to assert themselves in reality after graduation. Corners and edges are sanded down, doors open, individual paths are taken, opportunities are opened up and seized.
Student projects and final theses are juxtaposed with current positions of jewelry makers and illustrate the profile of the training and the various career paths.
(Curation: Prof. Andrea Wippermann / The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog).
