With 44 breeding pairs, the Island of Rügen is one of the largest breeding grounds for white-tailed eagles in Germany. On the tour, you can observe the majestic birds in their natural habitat and, with luck, photograph them. Be enchanted by the breathtaking scenery.
Seeing the white-tailed eagle with a wingspan of up to 2.6 meters circling above us like a board amazes many people. It is not uncommon for two or more sea eagles to circle in the air at the same time and watch our every move as we behave in their territory.
It is interesting to see how the white-tailed eagle flushes out countless ducks and geese.
Even the wolf lives in this area and you can often find tracks!!!
Depending on the season, other animals can also be observed. Regular guests are: Ospreys, roe deer, fallow deer, great egrets, red-backed shrikes, cranes, great grey shrikes, lapwings, various duck species, marsh harriers, bluethroats, bearded tits and many other species.
Important: Experience the sea eagles from a safe distance - with a flight distance of 200 to 300 meters we protect their peace and quiet and we can observe the sea eagles without disturbing them.
