Found objects, ideas and formations in rust and shine. Nils Rackwitz presents his diverse acrylic paintings in the Winterkirche.
The winter church at Rühn Monastery is a place of encounter. In May, Nils Rackwitz from Eickelberg will be presenting his varied paintings there. The choice of motifs for his figurative works is wide-ranging, and they are mostly executed in acrylic. The basic tone is often determined by an immersion in the familiar. Marbles and planets, scrap and treasures, horizon lines and orbits come together in his paintings - found objects, ideas and formations in rust and shine. There is a lot to discover, just as there was twelve years ago with his show "Circles & Crowns" in the Rühn Winter Church.
The exhibition will open on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 4 pm. Visitors are also welcome on the following weekends (Fri - Sun) until May 25 from 11 am - 6 pm. On Sunday, May 24, guests can get creative themselves.
