The well-known Scottish folk band North Sea Gas is returning to Dobbertin Abbey again this year. A rousing potpourri of old and new songs is guaranteed.

The folk band North Sea Gas returns to Dobbertin Monastery on July 18, 2026 7.30 pm. Dave Gilfillan (guitar, banjo, bodhran), Ronnie MacDonald (guitar, bouzouki) and Grant Simpson (fiddle) from Edinburgh have songs from more than 4 decades of band history - and of course many of their previously released CDs in their luggage. The band around Dave Gilfillan has made Scottish folk music famous in over 16 countries. They also like to perform in Dobbertin and promise regulars and the curious a rousing concert evening.
