For our third run, we’re setting up camp at one of the island’s most inspiring locations: Project Bay in Lietzow. Here, where people are usually working on the future, we’ll kick off a morning of sports together.
Before we hit the road, our host will give a brief introduction to the run:
Digitalization often sounds like dreary offices and complicated technology. But actually, it’s like running: It’s all about the right connection, the rhythm, and breaking down barriers.
Our theme for today:
“How much ‘digital’ do we need to be freer ‘analog’ (i.e., out here in nature)? Does technology really make us more flexible, or just more accessible?”
Use the run and the discussion afterward to chat about your experiences with digital freedom.
When & Where:
Thursday, August 1, 2026, 9:00 a.m. (start)
Meeting Point: Project Bay Lietzow, Boddenstraße 64, 18528 Lietzow
The Program:
We’ll start right on the Bodden at Project Bay Lietzow. After a quick warm-up led by the Rocket Rügen team, we’ll go for a relaxed run along the water’s edge. As always: Runners of all levels are welcome—we’ll run together without any time pressure.
The grand finale:
Running makes you hungry—and we’ve got you covered! The team from Onda will, of course, be there again, bringing a hearty brunch for our post-run get-together. Enjoy delicious regional snacks and great conversations with the community.
Special highlight:
This time, the brunch and refreshments are generously sponsored by 1KOMMA5°! A huge thank you for supporting our active community.
