It’s an entertaining, thoughtful, and melancholic mix of classical music, operetta, film melodies from the ’30s and ’40s, musicals, and compositions by Norbert Fietzke.
Liane Fietzke and her husband Norbert Fietzke, who make up the duo “con emozione,” present a selection of well-known and beloved songs and intermezzos that musically explore themes such as the sun, moon, stars, night, dreams, and wishes. It is these profound emotions that permeate the melodies of this concert.
Among the songs to be heard are therefore classics such as “Moonlight, Look Up at the Moonlight…!”, “At Night, People Don’t Like to Be Alone…!”, “The Man I Love!”, “My Songs Plead Softly!”, “Auf Flügeln des Gesanges!” and numerous other melodies. It is a colorful journey through a wide variety of musical genres that nonetheless form a cohesive whole.
