Sail GP returns to Sassnitz from August 22 - 23, 2026 - with the fastest races on the water on the fastest race course in the world. The Sail GP debut in Sassnitz was one of the most action-packed events of the 2025 season: the challenging conditions ensured pure excitement and speed records.
In August 2025, Sassnitz hosted the German premiere of SailGP, the fastest sailing series in the world. The international teams fought thrilling duels at speeds of up to 100 km/h in front of the chalk cliffs. Over 13,000 spectators watched the spectacle live, millions watched the races on ZDF.
Sail GP will return to Sassnitz from August 22 to 23, 2026, this time with 13 teams and plenty of water sports and action.
