25 years of Perform[d]ance: REMIX, a contemporary dance production that makes the history of the association tangible as a dance journey through time.
To mark its 25th anniversary, the anniversary production REMIX is a contemporary dance production that makes the history of the association tangible as a dance journey through time. REMIX picks up on sequences from the last 25 years and combines them in a new way. In addition to the dancers from the different generations of the youth company, children, young people and adults from the current courses will be involved in various scenes.
Choreographic stations created in very different locations - including industrial halls, church halls and classrooms - will be on show. The artistic team will look at the context of the productions, shifting thematic brackets into the present day and questioning the relevance of social and political engagement for our (future) coexistence and existence. The world at the time Perform[d]ance was founded was a different one. The questions, fears and urgencies of the youthful world of the noughties were fundamentally different to 2026.
