"Red stars over the field" Cinema

In the East German province, a discovery of a bog body unearths suppressed secrets and the history of the past century. In a small village in eastern Germany, an old corpse is discovered in the moor. The discovery opens up old wounds and causes the inhabitants to come to terms with the GDR era, National Socialism and personal entanglements. The film is a psychological portrait of a region where the ghosts of the past still simmer beneath the surface.
