On Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5 p.m., the Stralsund City Library invites you to an enchanting reading: Author and communication designer Josi Saefkow will be presenting her urban fantasy novel "Vestriell - The City of Witches".
In the first volume of what is now a five-part series, 17-year-old Sceya embarks on a touching journey: In search of a man who can make contact with spirits, she hopes to see her deceased sister Mivee again. Her path leads her to a hidden village in the Alps, where she encounters magical mythical creatures. The story is psychologically profound, thought-provoking and also hilarious.
Josi Saefkow from Barth has not only written the stories herself, but has also created numerous illustrations to accompany them. She will present some of these works of art at the reading. Admission is €6, free for under 18s.
