Heidi Wendt has been a registrar in a small town in Mecklenburg for over 30 years. As a hobby author, she writes and reads stories from everyday life together with her husband. In her book readings, entitled "Bitte wend(t)en!" (Please turn!), people get back into conversation with each other.
At some point, Heidi Wendt, a registrar from Neukloster, got bored of boring wedding speeches and took up the pen herself. The result is numerous varied short stories full of humor and local color, which Heidi Wendt has published in two books to date.
With her stories about everyday life in small towns and villages in Mecklenburg, she allows the audience to share her experiences in an authentic way. When a reading by Heidi Wendt takes place under the motto "Bitte Wend(t)en", there is rarely an empty chair.
