A professional chicken farmer who is no longer a professional chicken farmer has to figure out what to do with his life - this is the origin of the story by writer and journalist Juli Katz, with which she won the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern 2024 Literature Prize.
Juli Katz, born in 1990, works as a freelance journalist in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and writes for national and regional media, mostly about science, politics, culture and work - preferably in rural areas. She currently lives in the Mecklenburg Lake District with her dog.
In 2025, she will be on a reading tour through MV - and will also be stopping off at Waren (Müritz) town library.
The Waren (Müritz) City Library cordially invites all interested parties to a special kind of reading on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Look forward to a breath of fresh air and light-footedness with a great representative of the region's young literary scene.
