Manfred Gütschow (*1928) reads from his book "Erinnerung an Fischlands große Zeit", answers questions and, together with the audience, remembers almost forgotten things that still characterize Fischland today. He tells particularly vivid stories from the days of the Second World War, recalls the great names of the past in Wustrow, follows the development during the war and brings the Fischland of that time back to life in the listener's mind's eye when he thinks back to his own childhood pranks and special events from the past.
The author Manfred Gütschow comes from a long-established Wustrow captain's family and presents his first book, "Erinnerung an Fischlands große Zeit", in which he records his childhood and youth memories from a time of upheaval.
