Everything is allowed in acting - and that's exactly what makes it so much fun.
Actress Julia Richter invites children to play, read and try out scenes together. The starting point is the humorous book
"The Day Dad Wanted to Have a Tricky Conversation" by Marc-Uwe Kling.
Here we read, speak, improvise and play with our own bodies.
What happens when words suddenly come to life? How does a character feel? And how is a scene actually created?
It all starts on May 23:
Children and parents will get to know the book at a reading with Julia Richter. Before and after the reading, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and get a first impression of the planned workshops.
The workshops themselves can be attended on one or two subsequent days. Each day is designed in such a way that all children can try out many different game ideas. Popular exercises relating to voice, body and language are included and are varied again and again.
Whether shy or courageous, loud or quiet:
Acting is not about being "cool", but about trying things out together and having fun playing.
