Rügen in the 1920s. Crime writer Dorothee von Stresow is haunted by the fire in her parents' house. She does everything she can to find the arsonists from back then, but the arrival of a film crew from Berlin puts an abrupt end to her plans. When starlet Lily di Mario is found dead at the foot of a cliff, Inspector Breesen asks for Dorothee's help. But the actress is not the only dead person on the film set. So Dorothee plans to set a trap for the murderer ...
