An evening on the topic of democracy and civic engagement
In her book, Cesy Leonard describes how people can not only observe democracy but also actively shape it. Drawing on numerous examples from her work, she encourages readers to put their own ideas into practice and spark social change—regardless of age or prior experience.
The event will be moderated by Katja Thiede. There will also be a book table set up by the bookstore “Frau Rilke.”
The reading is open to anyone interested in democracy, social engagement, and the question of how change can be achieved on both a small and a large scale.
