What would it be like if they simply skipped Christmas? When their grown-up daughter announces that she will not be celebrating with her parents for the first time, the Krank couple decide to boycott Christmas and go on a cruise instead. However, they have not reckoned with the outraged incomprehension of the neighbors in their small American community. Why doesn't the family buy Christmas cards or a Christmas tree?
