Radka Denemarková reads from her novel "Kobold"
This novel tells two interwoven stories that clash like water and fire—opposite yet inseparable. At its heart lie indomitable love and subtle violence, familial influences, and ideological temptations. The characters in this novel bear the scars of their origins and their time: a society that is hardened both at its core and on its fringes—toward the sensitive, the vulnerable, and the so-called weak. Their suffering is not a matter of individual failure, but a symptom of an era. And behind it all, a dark force seems to be at work: the goblins.
