Children's Theater (ages 4 and up)
Out of gratitude toward a poor miller’s boy who had always treated him well and who had fallen on hard times through no fault of his own, a clever tomcat decides to help him lead a better life. Off he goes on foot! His idea: Clothes make the man. Puss in Boots plans and, through cunning, accomplishes amazing things, paving the way for the boy’s happiness.
The cat promises to fulfill people’s wishes—such as a job, partridges, or the freedom to make their own decisions. The king is taken in by his tricks. The princess sees right through him but is curious about his ideas.
And the young man is no count in fine clothes, but naked—a nobody. He must first prove that he is worthy of the royal garments. With the Puss’s help, he succeeds in turning what was previously only an illusion into reality.
A puppet show with hand and foot puppets for everyone ages 4 and up. Written and directed by Jürgen Wicht.
The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes; admission is 5€.
