Igold and Iglinde Igelsen lead a peaceful life on their Blueberry Hill, disturbed only occasionally by the hare running around. When the hare once again scares away the birds that Igold loves and watches, the hedgehog gets carried away in the argument and makes a bet that he obviously can’t win. Nevertheless, Iglinde’s cunning and ingenuity manage to defeat the hare, who then finds himself in a particularly dangerous adventure. It all comes down to the question: Why “cunning,” anyway?
