Tackle the public fall clean-up at Schwerin Zoo on November 15
Schwerin Zoo cordially invites all volunteers to this year's fall clean-up! Together we want to make the zoo grounds ready for winter and spruce everything up for our animal residents and our guests.
�� When: Friday, November 15, 2025
�� Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
�� Meeting point: Schwerin Zoo main entrance
Whether as a family, with friends or alone - every helping hand is welcome! Adults and children from the age of ten (accompanied by an adult) can take part.
Our main task is to rake, collect and load the autumn leaves. Sufficient equipment is available, but you are welcome to bring your own rakes or shovels. Please be sure to bring your own work or gardening gloves.
You will work in small groups of six to eight people under the guidance of a zoo employee. This makes working together not only effective, but also entertaining!
As a thank you, all participants enjoy free admission to the zoo on this day and can experience the animals in a cozy atmosphere. At the end of the day, everyone can enjoy a warm soup and hot drinks.
Schwerin Zoo is looking forward to many hard-working supporters - and guarantees a varied day for young and old in the middle of nature!
