True Crime Talk with Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel and Dr. Tino Grosche
Forensic pathologist Prof. Dr. Klaus Püschel gives exclusive insights into his most spectacular cases and the world of forensic medicine on 30.10.2026 on the occasion of his 50th professional anniversary.
For decades, the former head of forensic medicine in Hamburg has been considered one of the most distinguished forensic scientists in Germany. He has been involved in numerous sensational investigations: He autopsied the politician Uwe Barschel, investigated the massive abuse of a three-year-old girl in the harrowing Yagmur case and was involved in the reopening of the so-called "bathtub case" surrounding Manfred Genditzki, who was finally acquitted after serving more than 13 years of innocent imprisonment. He was also an expert witness in the Kachelmann trial, examined the body of the Reemtsma kidnapper and worked in Kosovo, Egypt and Syria. Püschel reports on extraordinary cases. The audience experiences at first hand how crimes are re-enacted, causes of death are determined and perpetrators are convicted. This true crime special promises in-depth insights into real criminal cases and pure suspense. It is about serial murders, sexual offenses, cold cases, but also about wrongly convicted people. The evening will be hosted by true crime talker Dr. Tino Grosche. The audience can look forward to a captivating evening between science and true crime - full of exciting stories, moving fates and impressive insights into the search for the truth.
