The Prerow Baltic Sea Swim 2026 invites all ambitious open water swimmers to a special sporting experience on the Baltic Sea coast.
The event takes place at the Prerow pier and covers a distance of approx. 2.4 km in the Baltic Sea. Depending on the weather and water conditions, the course runs around or next to the pier, offering an attractive and challenging swimming experience in a unique maritime setting.
The event is organized by DLRG Ortsgruppe Prerow e. V., which is hosting the event itself for the first time. The focus is on a sporting challenge, safe execution and the joy of open water swimming.
Experienced swimmers who feel up to the demands of an open water course in the Baltic Sea can take part. The event is supervised by experienced emergency services on the water and on land.
The Prerow Baltic Sea Swim combines sport, nature experience and community and is aimed at participants from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as well as guests from all over Germany.
