Richard invites his wife, mother and best friend to dinner and announces that he has won the lottery. However, he also confronts his loved ones with his decision not to collect his lottery winnings.
He is surprised to discover that his heroic deed is met with the greatest incomprehension by his wife Claire, his mother Rose and Etienne. They don't find the decision funny at all. The battle for the lottery ticket begins. Whatever the cost! The boundaries between love, friendship and greed quickly become blurred. How far will the three of them go?
This pitch-black comedy celebrates the power of money as the "strongest of all drugs" and shows how quickly ideals are shattered when wealth comes into play.
