Darß Nature Film Festival 2026
At the “GrünStreifen” Youth Nature Film Camps, young people from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern make nature films in the state’s National Natural Landscapes. Two short films are premiering.
Time Pressure // In a future marked by environmental destruction, a group of teenagers desperately tries to save the life of their sick friend—until a surprising discovery from the past reveals a whole new world to them.
Seek and You Shall Find // As two friends sit down to do their vacation homework, they find an old map of the Darß Peninsula. A red cross can only mean one thing: there’s a treasure here!
Followed by the film: Natural Wonders of Hawaii – Between Water and Fire
In the middle of the Pacific, a laboratory of evolution has emerged, home to unique flora and fauna: spinner dolphins, tiger sharks, rainforests, and humpback whales returning from Alaska to these warm waters. A tribute to the living connection between humans and nature—and to the spirit of Aloha.
