In this year's Christmas fairy tale - performed by the youth theater group "Die Bühnenträumer" - a lively, cheeky, but highly lovable SAMS causes hilarious chaos in the life of shy Mr. Taschenbier.
Mr. Taschenbier is shy - very shy. He is always trying to do everything right and not attract attention. This is especially true when dealing with his very resolute landlady, Mrs. Rotkohl, whom he fears.
At the end of a seemingly ordinary week, however, Mr. Taschenbier makes a very unusual acquaintance: Sams enters his life and seems to have decided to shake up Mr. Taschenbier's quiet life.
It takes up residence in his room, eats all sorts of impossible things, is too loud, too wild, too cheeky - in short, Sams has great fun making Mr. Taschenbier's life difficult. But - it also makes sure that Mr. Taschenbier gets raspberry ice cream out of order, that Mrs. Rotkohl sits on a cupboard from which she can no longer get down and much more.
Mr. Taschenbier vacillates between great fear of all possible consequences and a growing affection for the chaotic Sams.
