Miejski Chór Logos ŚWINOUJŚCIE from Świnoujście and the duo Manhattan
As part of the viaTEATRI theater network, the Vorpommersche Landesbühne invites you to two special summer evenings in the Chapeau Rouge theater tent in Heringsdorf. Under the title "Pophits and Originals", artists from Poland, Germany and Ukraine come together to build a musical bridge between great choral music and legendary pop hits.
Cultural agent Karolina Bruch (Świnoujście) and musician, presenter and event organizer Arno Zillmer (Berlin, Island of Usedom) will lead this evening of cultural encounters in both German and Polish.
The traditional Miejski Chór Logos ŚWINOUJŚCIE from Świnoujście has been inspiring audiences with its youthful energy, tonal diversity and international concert activities for over 25 years. Numerous awards at national and international competitions underline the high musical level of the ensemble.
Founded in 2017, the piano and violin duo Diana and Oleg Yanushkevych combine classical virtuosity with specially arranged pop and rock compositions. In particular, their surprising arrangements of well-known hits for violin and piano make for rousing concert moments. Together, the choir and duo create an international concert program full of emotion, sound colors and musical encounters - a summer highlight in the Chapeau Rouge theater tent.
