Actor and musician Ulf Deutscher pays tribute to the best of his fellow poets with brand-new melodies. Nietzsche in 7/8 time. Rilke accompanied by guitar. Heine, Storm, and Claudius as the most gifted songwriters. Texts from yesterday—music from today. Songs, chansons, and rock ’n’ roll. Living poets will, of course, join in. Life is getting more and more serious—art remains cheerful. Those who can still laugh are welcome to do so.
