Heidi Wendt presents her new book with the mysterious title "Whispers from the registry office". In doing so, she is fulfilling a long-awaited promise.
On Friday, February 14, 2025, at 7 p.m., it's "Bitte wend(t)en!" again in the old horse stable in Fahren when our local and popular author and registrar Heidi Wendt reads stories. This time there will be a book premiere. Heidi Wendt will be presenting her new book with the mysterious title "Whispers from the registry office". She is thus fulfilling a long-announced promise.
Guests can look forward to cheerful but also reflective anecdotes and stories from her work as a registrar and about love and life in general. Events and moments, sometimes funny, sometimes curious, moving, contemplative or sad - to make you smile or to make you think... presented, as always, with wit and humor. The reading with Heidi Wendt promises a great, entertaining, humorous evening, with charm and warmth of heart. This is already the third book by this dedicated amateur author.
"We are delighted that Heidi Wendt is back with us again this year. Requested by many, gladly realized by us - listening to Heidi Wendt is simply fun," says association board member Olaf Drümmer. Last year's event was sold out.
The reading can be experienced on February 14, 2025 - just in time for Valentine's Day - in the lovingly restored old horse stable in Fahren. When the registered cultural association Alter Pferdestall Fahren e.V. is not using this idyllic location for concerts or readings, it can also be rented.
Fahren is conveniently located just 3 km from the Zurow highway exit: off the beaten track in the countryside, but still close by. And no matter what the satnav says: always drive via Zurow first, all other routes are too difficult to drive on due to roadworks.
